During my hospital stay I found out there was not much medical support with recovery for rattle-snake snake bites except anti-venom, patients take weeks or months to recover on their own. I decided to tell my closest and trusted friend Jaqueline what happened to me. I knew she would bring me comfort with her kind heart and love. Whenever I need to tell someone my personal secrets or issues she is always there to listen and offer her thoughts. For this accident, Jaqueline also offered me some healing work since she is an energy practitioner. I told her I fully trusted her energy and believed that she could help with my recovery. She offered me several choices and permission on ways to work through her healing process and since we live miles away and I was still in the hospital she practiced her methods in her own way at a distance without me present. She has told me that I am a brave selfless soul and that I saved a child's life that day, as it bit me at the school instead of any students close around me. After I left the hospital I was told my recovery would be long, but I truly believe because of the power and help from Jaqueline that my recovery was faster than most and better. I had follow up appointments with doctors and poison control center calls for snake bits and they have all told me that my recovery has gone so well compared to others. I will forever be thankful for all the wonderful teachers and medical workers that cared for me that day, and also for the healing powers of Jaqueline that made my recovery smooth. She also told me that my recovery would go smoothly and that it would take me about a month to fully heal. She was right besides the numbness and tingling I feel though my finger that was directly bitten, the rest of my arm and hand has almost made a full recovery after a month. I have been blessed with her as I have now heard other stories of rattlesnake bite victims that were not as fortunate as myself.
